In this morning’s service, there was a highlight on the urgent issue of human trafficking within Sacramento, emphasizing that it is a problem in our own community, not just distant places.
The church’s Christmas Giving Project is supporting Drive for Impact, which actively works to combat this issue in three ways; they support victims directly; they support organizations that come alongside victims; and they raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking.
Through testimonies from individuals like Nate and Annabelle, the congregation heard personal stories that illustrate the harsh realities of human trafficking, but also the hope and healing found in faith and community support. Daniel encourages everyone to get involved, both through giving and participating in upcoming awareness events to help drive impactful change.
