toward maturity with someone.

THIS WEEK (listen to the message at: www.coldspringschurch.net)
This week we wrap-up our One Another series on what the Bible has to say about
the “rugged commitments” to making relationships work.
1. Of the below commitments, which is currently the most difficult for you? What
must you do to move forward in this area?
RECAP Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5:
• Love is a rugged commitment to be with someone, for someone, and
toward maturity.
• Unity is a rugged commitment to Jesus and one another that shapes
our beliefs and our actions.
• Humility is a rugged commitment to lower yourself and to lift up one
another.
• Grace is a rugged commitment to believe the best about one another
and act kindly toward one another, regardless.
• Connectedness is a rugged commitment to move toward one another
in friendship.
3. Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, share anything that
particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you.
4. How does prayer impact your relationships?
5. What is demanding or awkward about prayer? How is it a blessing or natural?
6. Who is someone you might pray for, and/or with, this week? What will you do to
connect with them?
Advent Devotional: November 30 – December 25:
Advent is a fancier way of saying “arrival.” It’s a time of waiting, of anticipating the
coming of something (or someone) great. The birth of Christ, His advent, marks
God’s ultimate plan for our redemption. In Christ, we see the fullest picture of God’s
hope, peace, joy and love. It is our hope that this guide will encourage and
facilitate personal time spent in the Word and provide a resource for families with
children to do that together.
