KEEP CONNECTED THIS SEASON
Life Groups are officially on break until January 2021. HOWEVER,
that doesn’t mean that we are on break from each other. Now more
than ever, being engaged in community is key to our wellbeing.
Below are suggestions for staying connected in intentional, Jesuscentered relationships:

the Bible on your computer, phone or tablet. It is written in realtime by leaders from the 24-7 Prayer movement, so it is truly
pertinent to our times. This resource helps you engage with
Scripture to inspire prayer and shape your life.

ZOOM https://zoom.us
Face-to-face interaction is the next best thing to being together inperson. Connect and chat on your computer, phone or tablet.
Zoom and other virtual platforms can help your group see each
other while still keeping socially distant. If you need help getting
your group set-up on Zoom, please contact the church.
SMALL HOME GATHERINGS
Nothing beats actually getting together in-person to stay engaged
in supportive relationships. During these pandemic times, small
home gatherings where safety precautions are in place, are good
ways to celebrate this season, and beat the holiday blues.
CHRISTMAS 2020 at COLD SPRINGS
We may not know exactly how Christmas will look at Cold Springs,
but we know that Jesus will be central to our celebrations. Our
beloved tradition of Candlelight Services:
http://www.coldspringschurch.net/
We will be making memories that we can fondly look back upon
together, “Remember celebrating Christmas in that crazy 2020
year?!”
SERMON STUDY GUIDE
We meet in Life Groups to: Connect deeper with God and each other through
prayer and relationship. Connect the Bible to life. Connect with our community
through serving.
ICE BREAKER:
PRAYER: God is worthy to be sought – take time to pray together in your group.
HOW TO READ THE BIBLE
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to
make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and
teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do
every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NLT)
Ask yourselves the following questions as you read this week’s Bible passage…
What is God asking me to believe?
What is God asking me to do?
How is God preparing me to live more effectively for him?
For free tips and resources on what is in the Bible and
how to read it, visit www.thebibleproject.com. The Bible
Project creates free videos that show the Bible as a.
unified story that leads to Jesus. To find out more about

SERMON SERIES: “Unshakeable: Living The Words of Jesus”
In this sermon series we explore how to live according to Jesus’ teachings in
Matthew chapters 5-7. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom. It is something we
are not only to know, but to do, to live. And when we do that, we are
immoveable, unshakeable because the foundation is Jesus and he is the Rock
of our salvation that is immoveable and unshakeable.

community. With dialogue around God’s truths, perspective broadens and
impacts transformation.

so?
TAKING IT HOME
WEEKLY REFLECTION
Surrender – Follow – Listen – Do (2 Corinthians 5:21, John 8:36, Luke 19:10)
The Gospel – the Good News of Jesus – is that we are forgiven by God.
Because we are forgiven, through the Spirit of God we have been given the
power to forgive.
No forgiveness, no freedom. In forgiveness, there is freedom.
Freedom to love and be loved.
